July-September 2025

Now, more than ever, we Christians must persevere in our faith, relying solely on the power and the grace of God through the Holy Spirit, so that Christ may shine brighter through us in this lost world that is yearning for hope, joy, and peace.

We praise God for the hope, joy, and peace we possess in Him, and how He is allowing us to take part in His plan.

The ministry in Amiens

Outreach

We thank you for your precious prayers regarding the outreach we had during the Tour de France. We were able to give out tracts to bystanders in front of our building, and several Bibles were given.

We purposely had our church door open for people to use our restrooms, which allowed us to have good opportunities to converse and share the Gospel.

Growth

By God’s grace, the church in Amiens is doing well. We continue to pray for believers to grow spiritually and are hoping that they will understand the need to have a more active part of the local body of Christ.

We are thankful for more people who have been regularly attending our services. J**n-M**c, a university student from Ivory Coast, stated that he was happy to have found a church similar to the one he grew up in.

We also had the visit of two Christian families who were desperately looking for a Christ-centered and biblical church. When the first couple entered for the first time, they were gladly surprised to hear brother Abbett preach that this is precisely our goal as a local church. Please pray for these new attendees and for the Lord to guide us in how we can serve them.

Please continue to pray for M****e and her four children, as her appeal for asylum here in France has been denied. Please lift your prayers to God for S*******n, who recently prevented his father from committing suicide. I continue to counsel a young Christian man. I would greatly appreciate your prayers for wisdom and for this brother to have victory.

This fall marks the resuming of several activities, such as ladies’ and men’s meetings, but also children and teens’ Bible Discovery Clubs.

Camp Rainbow

This July, we served at Camp Rainbow, where I taught the teens for two weeks and preached several times to all campers. Damaris had the joy of being a teen girls’ counselor.

We praise the Lord for five campers who trusted Him for salvation this summer, and for other decisions that have been made regarding their walk with the Lord.

During camp, I also had the joy of replacing Andrew Livingstone, my brother-in-law, for a Bible study at the church in Bort-les-Orgues while he was serving as a teens’ counselor.

Please pray for Andrew, Sephora, and Lydia, who are currently back in the United States for three months as they raise support to continue serving the Lord in their church ministry and at camp.

Our family

From left to right: Adam, Damaris, Anthony, Jérémie & Abel

Thank you for your prayers for our family. Adam graduated from High School in June and is now taking classes at Jules Verne University in Amiens, studying political sciences. Pray for the Lord to give him wisdom, discernment, and a deeper communion with Christ.

Abel is in 7th grade and enjoys studying Spanish. We are continuously amazed by the musical talent God has given him. He’s recently added the harmonica to the list of instruments he can play.

Anthony is now in 3rd grade and continues to show a studious attitude, reminding us of both his grandfathers.

We thank you for your love, your kindness, and your help manifested through your precious prayers.

In Christ,

Jeremie, Damaris, Adam, Abel, & Anthony
