“Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers by whom ye believed, even as the Lord gave to every man? I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase. So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase” (1 Corinthians 3:5–7).
Dear praying partners & family,
We praise the Lord for His work in and through our lives. Even though we may not always be the instruments we should be nor the ones we imagine we are, God, in His infinite wisdom and grace, uses us according to His plan and for His glory.
The truth of this passage recently touched my heart and was made real through a 24-year-old young man. In January, I received an e-mail from J**h asking about the church in Amiens as he was “searching for a serious assembly of saints” as he couldn’t find any near him. Though he lives about an hour away from Amiens, he accepted my invitation to come to our Sunday service and has been faithfully coming since then. He comes from an atheist broken family and came to know the Lord 3 ½ years ago after viewing sermons on the internet from a pastor in Florida.
One Sunday morning, as we were commemorating the Lord’s Supper, O*****r, a schizophrenic homeless man from an Orthodox background who shows up from time to time, reacted to not being served. I thus had to ask him if he had placed his faith in Christ alone for the forgiveness of his sins and asked him about his baptism. After his response, I explained to him that, based on what he shared, I couldn’t let him partake, and he was fine with it. Though this conversation interrupted the commemoration, it brought two attendees to question themselves about baptism. J**h was one of them, and the other was A**l, our son’s friend.

After sharing a clear testimony of salvation, it was my joy and privilege on March 31st to baptize J**h. I didn’t plant the seed of the Gospel in his heart; a pastor in Florida did. The Lord, however, is allowing me to water and take part in J**h’s spiritual life. What a thrill it is to see his desire to be obedient in his walk with the Lord. Please pray for him, as his heart’s desire is to see his family come to salvation. Lord willing, A**l will be baptized at the end of this month.

The M****i family continues to come faithfully every Sunday morning and their sons to Bible Club. Ce is a believer who has been coming faithfully to our meetings since January. S*******n and F******c continue to come rather faithfully to our Bible studies on Tuesday evenings. Please pray for S*******n, whose relationship with his parents is quite tumultuous.
J**n-M**c continues to accompany N***a on Sunday mornings. He’s been reading God’s Word regularly and has started to share about his devotions during the service. Please continue to pray for his salvation. Though he comes off and on to our mid-week services, R****n persists in his hesitations as he’s still drawn to the Mormon church. We had not seen G*****y for several weeks and then found out he had been hospitalized in a mental health institution for several weeks. He’s doing much better now.
M****e, a refugee from the Democratic Republic of Congo, and her four children have been faithfully coming to our Sunday morning services. I**a, another refugee from Angola, and her two small children have also been attending regularly.

Please pray for all these dear souls. Whether the Lord allows us to plant or to water, we give God the glory for the increase He produces!
Please continue to pray for the churches in Champigny and in Mantes, as they are still without a shepherd. This year, I have pledged to preach once a month in Mantes, and Brother Abbett regularly helps the assembly in Champigny.
We thank you for your love, your kindness, and your help manifested through your precious prayers.
In Christ,
Jeremie, Damaris, Adam, Abel, & Anthony
